This is just a quick post to say thank you for visiting, wherever you are from and for whatever reason you chose to stop by. Unlike when I first started blogging in 2008 there is now a huge increase in spam, which I regularly have to delete, but a fair amount of visitors are still genuine. There has been no recent activity on the blog for 9 months, so it comes as a surprise to see so many people visiting on a weekly basis from all around the world. I wonder what Google searches my blog appears under? Below is a picture showing the last 100 visitors to the blog from the past few weeks.

I've made an effort to keep mine updated too so I keep peeking at yours so I'll be one of those people! x
Thanks Sally! I keep reading yours too. I remember it used to be so easy to post a blog when I was in China and it was working, but now it seems I never have any time to keep at it, even though I really want to.
See you later xx
I've been a silent fan of your blog for quite a while and look forward to you returning to more regular updates.
As a suggestion, it would be great if you could write some more detailed blogs about adjusting back to like in the UK, for you and your wife, considering it must have been difficult for her too, the whole visa situation, or how married life in general has changed you.
All the very best
Thank you blogfan!! I really appreciate your suggestions and completely agree. Initially when I got back I wanted to write about exactly those things, unfortunately life got in the way, but I would certainly love to get back to that.
Thank you again, and thank you for reading!
i love your blog! it's cool :)
YOUR BLOG IS AWESOME!! :)I'm just now finding your blog but its so interesting, I wish that I could travel like this and see the world! I am living on a Native American Reservation in Arizona where my mother works as a nurse at the moment. The most exciting traveling that I've done in life was probably going from Illinois to Missouri...It's nice here in Arizona and it's so amazing being around a different culture. We may be possibly moving to Alaska soon which is sooo exciting to me. Even though at this time I'm only state hopping, it's made me realize that there is so much to see in the world through.
I'm so envious of you and Kimi!
Well sorry for rambling on. I'm new here on Blogger and this is the first blog that I've found that didn't bore me to death!
Take care!

Thank you for your lovely comment about my blog. I loved my time in China a lot, going there was the best decision I ever made! I know it can be scary making the choice to travel but you will never regret it if you ever decide to go for it.
Good luck with your move to Alaska!
Thanks again,
Chris :)
